Wiggilez Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 went and spent a few minutes over at the MJ today, and I saw this, I know that the MT leaf pack has 5 leafs in it, so I was wondering if thats what I got or if theres just a AAL in there? [/uR Thanks for any help :)
HOrnbrod Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Are the end cuts of all five leafs radiused the same? If so, then you probably have the 4+1 (4 regular, 1 overload) version of the MT leaf springs. Although those look pretty sagged out.........

Although those look pretty sagged out......... do you mean at the end of each leaf where they round off? also they are sagged because there is a whole cherokee minus the body in the back, unfortunately the box of that truck is the only place I have to store the extra parts :(
HOrnbrod Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 do you mean at the end of each leaf where they round off? Yes. And that explains the sag.......... BTW, in the parts manuals the 86, 91, and 92 MJs had the 4+1 HD springs; the 87-90 MJs had the 3+2. Weird.

Eagle Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 With that much weight in it, I would jack it up to near stock ride height and put jack stands (or concrete blocks) under it to save the springs (if it's not too late).
