Jeepjeff859 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I am tossing around the idea of looking for a stronger transmission to swap in Are there any that wil bolt up to a 86 2.5 and be able to keep the 231 transfercase?

dasbulliwagen Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 The AX15 will with a Dakota 2.5 bell housing. There are a few on here that have done it but I'm not the one to get the details from.
