Arizona Duffer
I am not too far from Mexican border, in Arizona. The Comanche is garaged but doesn't much like the sun when parked during the day. Anyone have success in locating a source for dashboard covers? Thanks much. shelbyluvv
If you google "Comanche DashMat" you will find what you are looking for. https://www.google.com/search?num=20&q=comanche+dashmat&oq=comanche+dashmat&gs_l=serp.12...92441.92441.0.93355.1.1.0.0.0.0.664.664.5-1.1.0.msedr...0...1c.1.61.serp..1.0.0.BUtpGXtc_HY

Crash
DIY, or maybe search cherokee/xj dash cover. Some companies do not know their @$$ from their elbows.
ParadiseMJ
I got the exact cover that Shelby is talking about the "DashMat" brand. Fit perfectly, had it for about 4 yrs. Two complaints though...the velcro mounting tabs are weak...not the velcro itself, but the stickum on the dash and the mat don't stick, to either surface. I just bought my own velcro and fixed it right without any problems on the dash itself (like leaving goo on the dash). The other problem is it makes it a PITA to get into the glove box...but after getting a full console for the MJ I don't even use the glovebox, except for extra bulbs, fuses and some tools. Arizona Duffer
Thanks for your suggestions and tips. I will be ordering the Dash Mat product. I would fabricate one myself, but by the time you pay for material and serging, this is a derned reasonable price. 'Manche on.
MJmk
I went with Dash Designs in Tempe. Got the carpet style, been on the dash for 12 years and still looks great! The glove box door cover is a separate piece from the rest of the dash cover, so no problems opening the glove box.
Bobolink
I've had the same DashMat brand on mine since it was a couple months old. I've never used the velcro. After a few months it just molded itself to the dash. Same dark brown has been sitting there for 25 years. I take it off occasionally and shake it out. It's never noticeably faded. My upholstery is a light tan, and I got the dark mat to cut the reflection on the windshield.
