Would these be safe to use in an engine? Granted it doesn't say how old they are, but I figured that they had a shelf life.

I have a case of the renix mopar filters and have used several of them already with no problems . It all depends as to what environment they are stored in . If they are not rusted or damaged/ dented go for it .
