mnkyboy Posted September 18, 2014 Share Posted September 18, 2014 I usually get $200-$250 out of a good used 4wd AX5, not sure what you could get with a rebuild. If it works i would think it would be easier to sell it the way it sits though,seems that alot of people would rather put in several $200 transmissions then pay more for a rebuilt one. If its 4wd it would also help if you drilled it for Wrangler t case clocking, I find there is alot more demand for Wrangler AX5s. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No one wants to give joe blow top dollar for something "rebuilt" when the only proof is that it is clean and that he says "my buddy is a trans guy and just rebuilt it for me".
