yxmj Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 I think if you take a tape to it you will find the pinion is a bit off set..( not perfectly centerd)....that would make the ring off set and by defaut the carrier...so one shaft is longer. . :MJ 1: . As much as I liked AMC vehicles, they did some strange things. However, in all honesty, it may not have been an AMC decision at all. It may have been Dana Spicer.
