Lime
My MJ was stolen and crashed (more info on that and pics in the build thread here). I drove it home from the impound, so it definitely started then. Today I took the hood off and now it won't even turn over, just clicks. There is power to the dash and lights, but it won't start. The battery was damaged, (smushed-in corner and leaking), but replacing it didn't do the trick. The starter relay was pushed back by the battery and I'm thinking something in that area may have been pinched, damaged, or something else, but I can't see what the problem could be. I'm new at this, so sorry if it's obvious, but maybe you guys could give me some ideas on what I should try. Damage to the battery It looks fine, but the battery had been shoved on top of the starter relay and the bracket holding it in place was bent. This nest was also there? Or whatever this stuff is? Jeep Driver
What is the fuzzy pile of $#!& behind the battery? You need to go through your cables and connections, replace as necessary.
shelbyluvv
You need to start checking wires right next to the rat's nest behind the battery.

Lime
I removed the nest and the wires look ok, but obviously one of them isn't working. Oh yeah, and the signal lights don't work. Well, they work... they both turn on when I step on the brake, but they don't signal.
