i actually got a roll bar for a long wheel base comanche, it's mounted just like the short wheel base one and not from front to rear of the bed but i was wondering do all roll bars have back plates for mounting or just bolted to the bed, i just have the bar itself no bolts, no mounting hardware at all. i just want to mount it right for when i do bolt it in,

Both the lwb and swb use the same bracketry. Backing plates having 3 m10 x1.5 nuts with bolts are used at the front of the wheel well and brackets mount to the frame using 6 m10x1.5 bolts on each side .

ok, i wasn't sure if i needed a backing plate, i don't know if they have to be a special size so i'm havin them made the same size as the base at the end of the pipes,

I just picked a roll bar up, and set it in the box, to see how it looked. Guess I need to make some brackets too now, loleqajyhe3.jpg
