redwolf624 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 i actually got a roll bar for a long wheel base comanche, it's mounted just like the short wheel base one and not from front to rear of the bed but i was wondering do all roll bars have back plates for mounting or just bolted to the bed, i just have the bar itself no bolts, no mounting hardware at all. i just want to mount it right for when i do bolt it in, Redwolf
Strokermjcomanche Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Both the lwb and swb use the same bracketry. Backing plates having 3 m10 x1.5 nuts with bolts are used at the front of the wheel well and brackets mount to the frame using 6 m10x1.5 bolts on each side .

Strokermjcomanche Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I can snap some pics of them and send them to your email . But I think on the the informational picture thread there is a picture of what the brackets look like.

cbreiter Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I just picked a roll bar up, and set it in the box, to see how it looked. Guess I need to make some brackets too now, lol
