Lee21490 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Noticed a puddle under my truck at work today, This is on the left side firewall right under where the charcoal canister used to be. 95' 4.0l
Roost426 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Is that under the blower motor? It has a drain tube off the bottom of it. Or that could be from the heater core.
Lee21490 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Its under the heater hoses and blower Its pretty much right where your feet go
ftpiercecracker1 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 That is supposed to be the drain for condensation that comes off of the a/c condenser inside the cab. All that should come from that tube is pure water, if antifreeze has found its way to that drain it almost certainly means your heater core has sprung a leak. :( EDIT: by the looks of it, it doesnt appear to be to severe, but a leak is a leak and it will only get worse over time.

Agreed.
Lee21490 Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Holy ********************************************************************** If that heater core ever springs a leak again in the future, I think i can live without heat. I can't believe how hard it is to get to it, To change it. :/
Jeep Driver Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Loop your hoses together and bypass the heater core.
Lee21490 Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Loop your hoses together and bypass the heater core. I swapped the core out last night, I just never want to do it again haha
