Couple Xj -> Mj Parts Compatibility ?'s

OK few questions.

 

1.) Weatherstripping around the door. Same as XJ? noticed a lovely draft from the bad weatherstripping on my drivers door today.

 

 

2.) My MJ has the bucket seats and the belt is torn. will the belts from the front of a XJ work? I would rather buy new for seat belts. because safety.

If you get door weatherstripping from a 97 and later 4 door, it seals better than the earlier stuff....

Don't forget the window seals also, all the way around the glass, they're much better on the 97+, but they don't have quarter windows.  But I'm pretty sure the rear door seals (the vertical seals on the back of the back windows) will fit on the front of the front door glass.   Does that make sense?

I'm going to just get the body part since I'm planning to go to 97+ doors soon anyway.
