danbyrambler Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 x2 on the awesome - Great picture thread - - - - What had your son's & the dog's attention? Dinner time?
Blue XJ Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 You nailed it, the wife was holding a treat to get the dog to look and the son wanted to see what was going on.
dasbulliwagen Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 That is shweet! Makes me want to build another one. I have a rusty but complete antique wagon I may do a rat job with. Might have to dig it out and get started on that!
Doc. Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Been a while since I had a look around the forum. Really like this project. Where did you get the parts from? If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have into it?
Blue XJ Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 I bought the go kart parts online, that included the hubs and tie rods. The frame I made myself, the wheels and tires were from my cousin who races go karts. All said an done I have about $150 into it, about the same price as a new Radio Flyer town and country wagon. If I had to buy the wheels and tires it would have added about $200 to that, so I probably wouldn't have built it.
Blue XJ Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 We took it to the Dream Cruise this year, it was a hit, tons of people were asking about it, a few wanted me to build them one.
