COMJNUT
my google-fu was slow today, get some aftermarket upper control arms: Control arm length to lift height chart 3/4 of an inch between stock and 4.5" lift for conrtol arms, the lowers are aftermarket and the uppers are stock, there's your bad caster angle. How is your pinion angle to the front output of the t-case, do you get any vibes from your front driveshaft?
Wrz
Brought to a front end place, and they got everything aligned perfect, What were the readings on their printout? How about the LCA L & R shim balance? Going to have to see if I can find the bill tomorrow, if not ill see if I can get it faxed over
Wrz
Did you say that when running the 225 75 15 tires you have no DW and with the 255 70 18 you do? If thats the case you need to look at the 18 inch wheel/tire combo. What are the take off's from? Are you using wheel adaptors to make them fit? I had death wobble when I was running my 265 75 16s on Moab rims, sold them and when I out the 225 75 15s it rode good with no dw, now when I go up to a bigger tire I cannot go over 30 with it the dw. I had no adapters with the 16s and ran adapters with the 15s and the 18s I currently have now. Rims and tires are off of a 13 jk
Wrz
from the video, the driver side rear wheel/tire has some wobble to it. best thing to do is to have a friend record a near the ground shot in another car while your driving 30mph and see where it starts. Going to see if I can mount a go pro under there or rig my camera up to record it, hopefully the weathers nice tomorrow

Since you state there is no play anywhere except a bit in the column and everything is tight, all the videos don't mean squat if you don't know what your front end geometry is mate. Especially since it ran true up to 65 with the smaller wheel/tire combo you tried.
dave92cherokee
I forget back through this thread but have you replaced any of the front end components? I had pretty nasty death wobble in my 97 xj a while back and after taking it to get the tires rotated and balanced and an alignment done they told me that the TRE's and BJ's were worn out and needed replacement. After replacing all 4 ball joints, and all TRE's it now runs great without the steering stabilizer and there's a good bit of play in my steering as well but doesn't cause any problems. I'm running 235/75/15 AT's on stock jeep wheels and no matter the pothole or bump in the road don't feel any vibration at all.
