tmaxx411 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I would like to lift my truck a bit, get tires, and 4wd swap it. Problem is, i only have enough cash to either 4wd swap it, or lift/tires. Which would be the better choice? Its a dd that sees a bit of trail use
87Warrior Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 4wd swap. You won't know what kind of lift/tires you will need to accommodate your wheeling style until you actually get out and wheel. When you do the 4wd swap, replace the front coil springs with Moog V8 ZJ coils and the truck will look lifted.

Agreed 110%, putting a lift or off road tires of any kind on a 2wd truck is like tits on a bar hog.
