kolton Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Well, besides the Power steering whine. The MJ has been running great. Even pulled my buddy's 2door JK out of a lake bed last nite with ease. Never got over 170* on the temp with a 195* thermostat. But we did decide to work on a vehicle today. And it was a real treat to be honest. Can anyone say where this pic was taken from?
GirsMJ86 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I want to say... late 1920s (1927-29?) Model A
az comanches Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Looks like my brother's Model A dash. My family moved to Lewisville in the mid-fifties. Less than 2,000 people lived there than. Had the highest scoring football team in the state. My brother was back that way a few years ago, said he was amazed at the changes. We lived on Main for a short time, then moved over to a place on the corner of Dwight and Pernell. My dad built a peanut butter plant there in 1954. Steve
kolton Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Girz and AZ are correct. 1929 Model A coupe. I've watched it sit for te past 6 years, pretty depressing. Went over to my buddy's grandads shop and he was pulling it out of the garage! With a little work it fired right over and down the road we went. And AZ, that's pretty neat to hear. I had the "luxury" of leaving but I ended up coming back. There is still a peanut butter factory. But the football team is... Well... Well just say its not the best haha.
GirsMJ86 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Yea, the dash/hood ornament gave it away for me. That thing looks awesome, I like the color. I see one or two of them driving around here now and then during the summer, but they are always black.
