Speedo Not Working After 8.8 Install And Light Bars Hooked Up.

My mj has been down for a while while I was doing a 8.8 swap. I also wired up my light bars, trans temp gauge, and a few other things. It's all up and running now but the speedo doesn't work now. The cable going into the transfer case looks fine. Is there anything under the dash that I could have unhooked not knowingly to make the speedo not work?

Yes, you could have potentially pulled the cable out from the back of the speedometer gauge.

Do you have a picture of what the connection looks like so I know what I'm looking for.

If you have cruise control there are two cables, one from tcase to cruise sensor, and one from sensor to speedo. Also some cables have a steel housing, not plastic

Ok we'll I think I found the problem guys. Pulled out my cluster and started tugging on the

Speedo cable and I was just able to pull it completely out. It looks like it might have got caught in the 4wd linkage last time I put it in 4wd and snapped. Ugh!!! So has this ever happened to anybody and how hard of a fix is it?

Buy a new cable, and the rubber seal where it enters the firewall. Figure out how long its supposed to be and head down to your favorite local autoparts store.
