Brakes are spongy, thinking it’s because of the bigger brakes on front axle. Long way from being “finished” but it hasn’t moved under its own power in almost 2 years, so I call it a win.

Small update, things have been slow going as I’m back in school and have a kid coming. Truck runs and drives now, doesn’t stop well. Had a small setback with the Holley harness and ecu….trans wouldn’t shift out of first, luckily found out they mislabeled the connectors at the trans. Still have a lot to do before I can call the swap “complete”.

Some pics as it sits….don’t mind the wiring, still trying to narrow down some stuff I can’t find. Need A/C wiring, tach, oil pressure sensor wire, some other odds and ends before I wrap it all up. Things I still need to do…

-order missing trim

-rear bumper and brackets

-new center console for shifter

-redo brakes front and rear

-finish mid pipe on exhaust

Been forever since I did any work on the truck. Life happened….still gotta redo the rear brakes. But found a fey bumper on Craigslist, for a Mazda/Ranger but it’ll do its job until I can build a new one. Wanted a dirt bound bumper but shipping is $150 alone. I’m into the bumper $190 with steel I used to make the brackets. Slowly getting her ready to put back on the road.
