Blue88Comanche Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 So I am having trouble keeping Charlie off mt Jeeps. I was fine when she only got on the Comanche, but because its been broken down at my parents house Charlie has moved to my Grand Cherokee. Its been raining a lot lately, and we think she is looking for a dry elevated spot to nap. (elevated to the point my other beagles can't bother her).. So far the scratches look like they will buff out. So, we are thinking about making a small platform in the front yard and hopefully she will stay off the Jeeps.. There is also nowhere I can Park my Jeeps where my Dogs can't go. I am going to fence off the back yard at some point and that will keep her contained... maybe... (all my dogs can escape the kennel..) I am open to ideas, but mostly just venting my slight frustration with her. Every time i see her on the jeep i do spray her with water.. Other than sleeping on the cars she is a well behaved dog
Pete M Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 that's what I would do. give her a dedicated spot that's hers.
RubberDuck Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 get a hood to put on that raised platform. if it feels the same and its easier to get on to, she might just give up the jeeps.

I like that idea, i even have an extra Jeep hood i can use.. Maybe I will make a second dog house and use the Hood as the roof.. I don't know why they don't use the one in the kennel (the kennel is huge, almost the same size as my house)
