I thought I had seen where someone was using rear shackles off a GM truck that were around the size of 1.5" drop shackle to get a little lift?

summit has a set with two holes real cheap.

Added about an inch to rear of my junk. You'll need some washers, as they're just a little too big for the MJ spring. They were cheap, and they're beefy.

No, they're too drop a Chevy truck 2" but will lift an MJ about 2". I think stock Chevy shackles are about .25" shorter eye-to-eye stock than MJ shackles. I've got a set in the garage that I can measure.

I used them for a while!!

Coincidentally, I just mounted mine to my fathers XJ today!! they are almost 5" eye to eye. So should give him about an inch of extra lift. they won't lift a MJ at all. But they are beefier and a good UPGRADE on that point alone!!

do the chevy shackles need alot of washers or will one on each side of the spring do the job. I'm thinkin about using these but not if I'm gonna have to rig them on.

also on my friends old yota he put on lift shackles and it pushed his axle forward a good ways. is it going to look funny if i use a shackle lift?
