I'm going to install a 2001 xj e fan and I need help wireing it. I purchased a electric fan wireing kit. However I want to wire it straight to an on-off switch. Without a temp sensor. The fan has 3 wires coming out of it. Which ones do I use and which ones don't I?

If the fan is from an 01 XJ, it's a single speed (two wires). XJs never had a 2-speed fan.

Really? I did not know that, thanks for sharing. The write up is the first link I posted, it takes you to a post by skidoo. The links are just above the two transmission pictures.
