74cam
Hey guys! I just joined the club and have always been a fan of the comanche. I'm actually looking at the possibility of getting one this summer as a daily driver as the car I have now isn't too practical for college and will be staying at home. Anyway, a few months ago on the Denver (not sure, but definitely a Colorado city) Craigslist there was an awesome Comanche put up for sale. I assume it sold as the price ended up dropping from around $9500 to $5500 if I remember correctly. I don't remember the year, but here are some things I remember about it- -Fresh Dark blue paint -custom black wheels -Fender flares all around -lifted -Fresh engine rebuild or replacement -short bed -short cab -custom front bumper with winch -interior had bucket seats I think and it was all grey -5 speed -he mentioned it had the original rear (aluminum?) bumper and that is was rare... Overall it was a very, very clean Comanche. I'm sure someone on here saw it and maybe someone on here owns it? I had pictures of it but my computer crashed and I lost all of that. So by any remote chance does anyone have pictures of this truck or even know who owns it? I know it's a long shot but I figured here would be the best place to check! Thanks for your help! - Luke
jimoshel
Go to the Denver Craigs List. In the search box type in Comanche. Start browsing. If no luck then try Boulder, Same routine. Then try Colorado springs. Same routine. Don't bother with Pueblo. It wasn't there.
Minuit
Also look for common misspellings like Commanche and Camanche (that's how it's spelled on my title :thwak: ). Some folks don't have an easy time with spelling. Anyway, if you can find one, about $3k will get you into a pretty good probably stock example. Good luck!
dasbulliwagen
Craigslist deletes postings after 30 days or so. If it hasnt been relisted you probably won't find it. That too is assuming jimoshel didnt buy it already!
buffalob
I remember seeing the truck also on craigs list. the guy was in Golden. Just my opinion mind you.. it looked good but the price seemed high for what it had in it. untill at the end when the price dropped. BUT I did not go check it out in person.....I peridodically see good ones in the vicinity though most of the reasonable ones get snapped up by Jim in Pueblo or Troy Yellaheep so you need to be ready to move quick LOL
jimoshel
Aw come on fellas. Having gone thru 16 Mj'S I never paid over $500 for any of them. If I find a good '92 that may change. . :MJ 1: .
74cam
I've searched through craigslist but I'm pretty sure the truck sold. I was mainly just wanting pictures if anyone had saved any, it looked like an awesome truck. I remember seeing the truck also on craigs list. the guy was in Golden. Just my opinion mind you.. it looked good but the price seemed high for what it had in it. untill at the end when the price dropped. BUT I did not go check it out in person.....I peridodically see good ones in the vicinity though most of the reasonable ones get snapped up by Jim in Pueblo or Troy Yellaheep so you need to be ready to move quick LOL Also, yes the price seemed high but he eventually went down!
