ftpiercecracker1 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Can a knock sensor be put on a later model block? I am using a newer block but keeping my Renix system. I am pretty sure some have the port, but its just not tapped. Can it be tapped without machining and what can be done if theres no port at all? ftpiercecracker
mvusse Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Never checked it out on my 94 I do not have anymore, or my (daughter's) 96, but if it has the boss for it, I assume it could be drilled/tapped to accept it. If it doesn't you'd be screwed.
