Comanche County Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 A couple of guys have painted their jeeps in our local club with this stuff. It actually looks pretty good. Just wondering what your thoughts are on it. https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php

Goose Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Guys here paint everything from lights to wheels to whole cars with plastidip. Peels off and leaves paint underneath unharmed.
johnnyc Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I'm actually gonna do my truck in the matte white tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
mvusse Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Is it flammable? A friend's TJ burned down to the ground a number of years ago after coating the undercarriage in bed liner a few months earlier.
Akula69 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I used it awhile back to coat the silver trim around the windshield. It peeled off after about 2 months...even though I had prepared the trim carefully. It's just not meant to be sprayed on - it was always meant to be a thick layer.
89Patches Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I think its only good for trim and rims etc... To paint a whole vehicle your going to need a spray gun or else 90% of the time it looks like crap.
