comanche1989 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Will an AX-15 5 speed and transfer case from a 1990 wrangler bolt on to a 1989 Jeep Comanche with the 4.0, and BA10?
Geonovast Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Yup, the only issue you'll have is with the transmission crossmember. The AX-15 one has a dip in the middle, which will most likely be a necessity, being as the trans is from a YJ, and will be clocking the T-case up.

Pete M Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 not without major surgery to the trans internals. by the time you bought all the parts needed, you'd be far better off with just getting a 4wd trans. :thumbsup:
