comanche1989
Will an AX-15 5 speed and transfer case from a 1990 wrangler bolt on to a 1989 Jeep Comanche with the 4.0, and BA10?
Geonovast
Yup, the only issue you'll have is with the transmission crossmember. The AX-15 one has a dip in the middle, which will most likely be a necessity, being as the trans is from a YJ, and will be clocking the T-case up. Pete M
I do believe you'll need the t-case shifter assembly from an MJ/XJ too.
comanche1989
Thanks for the replys. This might sound like an amateur question, but can I put a transfer case on a 2wd transmission? I feel like you can't but I'm unsure
Pete M
not without major surgery to the trans internals. by the time you bought all the parts needed, you'd be far better off with just getting a 4wd trans.
