Indy91mjElim Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 if I upgrade to the 17 inch moab wheels. Do I need to install a lift for clearance in the wheel wells? I have a 91 stock eliminator it is a 2 wheel drive for now but will not be hopefully soon.
AMCJeepMJ Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Wheel size is is irrelevant; its the overall tire size you need to worry about.. IIRC a 30" tire will fit with no suspension mods.

The thickness of the adapter will also make the backspacing 5" which will help fit the 32" tires that are usually found on those use JK wheel sets. You may end up having to install a small 2" budget boost lift to fit them.
