will it work? ive ben thinkin bout usin an s10 rad since the stock doesnt have a rad cap, buti could always put one in the upper hose.

 

just askin for the guys who have done the v8 swap.

use the stock Radiator system, but buy a 92 or newer 3 row radiator from an open system. those are heavy duty, and eliminate the closed system. then just find a newere style open system reservoir.

 

like $200 at most, and it's definitely worth it in the long run, considering you don't have to do any front end fabricating except for the electric fan mounts you would probably use.

the best thing you can do (is what i did) take your factory I-6 rad to your local rad shop and tell them your plans. then tell them you want them to add a filler cap and make it into a 4 core rad. then it will fit back into the factory position and you will have more room for your engine swap.

yea see thing is, i have an s10 frame and I'm gona be finishing the core support this wekeend so i mite dig up an s10 rad and see if itll work.
