Took off my bed and saw this hanging there. I know the top part is a junction block for

brakes but what's the other piece?

the arm? i believe it figures out of theres a load in the bed, and adjusts the brakes accordingly

There should be a adjusting link between the ball on the arm and another ball on the rear diff. cover. As you truck moves up and down with a load it will adjust the rear brake proportion.

That's your emergency brake handle. If the foot brakes fail, you drop out of the cab and as the truck rolls over you, you reach up and push it up.
