Finally Got One

I've been wanting a 4.0 for awhile now and I finally got one to practice on rebuilding yesterday. I got the block and the engine stand for only $50. Its from a 96 cherokee sport..

That's a good idea. I thought about buying a cheapo engine and ax15 for practice but space is getting a little tight. I need to clear out some unwanted parts first. Have fun with it!

Thanks guys. Previous owner said it blew a head gasket. He already sold the head but I'm not going to argue...

 

Anyone have an idea about the dddcdd? Its on the pistons too.. probably just manufacture but wanna make sure..
