Heater Controll By Pass Can I Take It Out 96Xj

That darn plastic heater control just broke on my 96 xj. I know they can be by passed on the mj is there any reason I can by pass this also? Just use 2 heater hoses to the engine from the core?

Take a picture just to be sure, but i couldnt imagine why you couldnt do it.

Most definitely. 1996 was the last year for the vacuum controlled water valve. Just pick up a pair of 97 and up heater hoses and plug the vacuum line.

I did it in my 94 a couple years ago, and on my 96 just last month.
