jimoshel
Went to the P&P this morn. Unfortunately got there just in to see them loading up the '87 MJ they had for the trip to the crusher. Seems they keep them for a predetermined time and then it's out of the yard. Fellas in the rust belt would have cried seeing it. Their wasn't a rust spot or dent in the entire body. Windshield wasn't even cracked or pitted. I would still like to have a little talk with the AH that sold it to them.
snakedoc67
I have the same issue with one here, I'm surprised it was still there as of last week. Body is in better shape than mine, and even the frame looks clean. If its still there Fri when I get paid I'll be out there with a sawzall to save the lower half of the door frames. Havent pulled up the carpet on it yet, I'm scared of what shock i'll go into if there isnt rust. I do have the PO's number, they used it for a power washing business and left a card inside. Asked the yard about how much for the fuel tank and sending unit, they are nice enough to punch large holes in tanks.
foreman1063
Same here, one in the yard nicer than 90% of the MJ's on the road. :shake:
Gibby
There's a jeep graveyard north of Proctor MN that has 4 MJ's just relaxing. 2 of them have damn good body's for MN rust. The other 2 are in shambles. Still got some nice interior pieces from them though.
SW86
they're always clean down here. never rusted out. only found one that had been wrecked and it wasnt even that bad. hell theres a clean sport truck sitting stripped to the bones, clean as all get out but the owner won't sell it to me. it'd be great for a complete build up
