huck731
so I have only had my comanche for about a month, it is my only means of transportation right now and is down with a broke slave cylinder for the clutch. I have the unique oppertunity to get a brand new dodge dart 1.4l multiair turbo with that vibrant orange that all you jeep lovers love and is spec'd in a very unique way...especially for it's price. only thing is I need 1k down on it and I dotn have that cash right now and no one from my family can afford to lend it to me. I don't want to see the comanche go away so soon.

ftpiercecracker1
Dept Is Evil, and As much as i would like to tell you to keep the comanche and screw the Dart. If you can get a grand out of it and actually get the deal you talked about, do it. You would have a brand spanking new vehicle, 100% reliable, with probably all kinds of bells and whistles. And if you ever wanted to get another comanche they will come around. but ultimately the choice is yours to make.
Comanche_Fanatic
Keep it, i own a '12 compass, payments and insurance are a pain in the @$$. My mj is cheaper. Why not get a personal loan to fix the mj, monthlys cheaper
chastings
Car payments suck, keep the mj. My cherokee and manche are both paid for and ANY repairs that they may need along the way are cheaper than a monthly car payment. My wife insisted on driving a new car so I bought her a 2010 Commander, which I love but I hate making payments on it. We're in it with only a 3.5% interest rate but I would have rather paid cash and put her in a low mileage 2001 cherokee classic instead. No idea how much a new dodge dart is but $300/month for 5 years is $18,000.... Imagine how bad @$$ your MJ would be if you kept it and invested only1/3 that amount in your classic jeep truck! Edit: just looked up the 2013 dart.... It looks like another version of the NEON? You can't even take that thing wheelin' or hunting or fishing.... Are they quick? It looks too practical to me! If it were me I'd top up the clutch master in the 'manche, bleed it, drive it and keep it topped up until I had time to drop the tranny and replace the slave/master.... Good luck! huck731
the dart is pretty quick. I actually decided on the 2012 vw beetle turbo though, 200 hp and I think 180 torque, thing is f'n fast. payments would be 341 monthly with 0$ interest on a 72 month term and my insurance would only go up $20. thats without trading the mj.
