Light Bar

Has anyone seen this or tried it. I am interested just to have a place to mount some LED lights. I would get it in Flat Black, but it looks like if it fits, it would be nice.

I would hold out for a factory rollbar. While they don't come around often, they aren't as unobtainium as some think. Usually can find one for about $100 when they surface.

It says it is 6.6 inches tall. A little low if want to put lights on it. Also only 12.2 inches wide.

I had this in black and it looked really tall with KC lights on it. Carr suggests to mount it fairly far forward, but I mounted mine further back before removing it completely.

Yeah, it is a bit tall with kc's. I'm putting a 30" led on mine.

I have a pair of THULE roof bars I bought at a yard sale I was going to try to use for this purpose but never did if you find a used set there ushally cheap. If you want I will dig mine out and get some pics.

A cheap place to mount lights? Cut down a factory XJ roof rack and mount it to the MJ. Then mount lights on the XJ crossbars :)

^^^I've seen this done where they mount both roof bars from an XJ, looks good.
