Southpaw26 Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I recently acquired a 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4x4 automatic with a 4.0 engine. Very excited to begin fixing this Comanche up. Seems to be a very solid truck. I was told that the truck had a 1999 model engine installed. I have the engine code on the front of the motor but don't know if it is indeed a 1999 engine. Any help on this would be great.
