Canoe Rack!

Looks similar to a canoe carrier I had on my S10 years ago, but I had the canoe more forward so I could rope the bow down straight to the front bumper. Without tying down the bow I would get canoe vibrations at speed. Your's work alright like that?

That is very nice looking. I like the reverse angle and it looks stable side to side as it goes out to the wheel humps.

 

Now you need to get a canoe that ain't ugly as sin!

Yah, I picked this one up for a song and dance, it needed some welding done to it and now that I've done that I'm going to be removing as much of the paint on it as I can. If that doesn't help its looks out then I'll repaint it olive drab ;)
