I received the MJ without a fuel tank. I now have the replacement tank, but have spent 5 weeks unsuccessfully looking for a fuel sending unit? Has anyone else encountered this issue? Not sure if there are any alternatives. I even tried hiring a parts broker who said they found one, but when I received it wasn't even close. Are there any creative options? You can modify an XJ unit to fit (not sure exactly what this process entails) but if you need an actual MJ sending unit, your best hope is either a junkyard or someone here on this forum.
