rocketwheels
....just scored a set of OEM towing mirrors...$30  ....also was able to re-install the original Comanche bedliner, had to add twice as many screws to secure it to the side, was warped all crazy. Weird liner, is a drop in, but doesn't wrap up over the bed sides like most I have seen, has a seperate mounting strip for each side that is grooved to hold the liner and screws to the inside lip of the bed rail.... JeepcoMJ
i hate you. my stock comanche liner covers the sides and uses screws with these screw type pressure plates to pinch it in. i think there are 8 of them. then 3 rivets on the back of the bed to hold the bottom down. does it look like yours was ever cut down? rocketwheels
....no, doesn't look like it has been cut, I'll try and get some pics soon. Sounds very similar to yours with the pinch rails thingies that bolt to the side of the bed railing.....
Tracker
What do OEM towing mirrors look like?
JeepcoMJ
like the stock mirrors but they extend it. well i think that's what he means, otherwise they're the ones that bolt on the door...i don't like those ones though
feerocknok
Pretty sure they're the ones that bolt to the door. Don't see em on Manches all too often, but 1 ton Yoters had em.
Oizarod115
i've got a stock mancheliner, i know cause it says COMANCHE up against the cab, it wraps over the sides and has screw holes all around the top, and bottomback edge where it was installed origionally on another manche. JeepcoMJ
i hate the ones that bolt on...they look like crap. that's my 2 cents though. and that's the exact bedliner i have, except mine only has either 6 or 8 holes on the side, and those have a screw going through to a corkscrewed pressure plate thingy so that when you turn them the tighten the bedliner to the inside edge of the truck. rocketwheels
...well, mine says Comanche too, but is set down between the rails, the top surface is totaly visible....I'll get pics soon, raining here as of now.
rocketwheels
here's a few pics of the bedliner, it is a 3 piece deal....the liner shell and 2 mounting strips that are grooved on the under side to hold the liner shells upper edge. The strips have become brittle and warped, had to add a few extra screws and redrill a few of them.....also picked up what I thing is a Yota roll/light bar fits good on fender humps....more pics in Fotki, follow the links http://images21.fotki.com/v578/filelSOy ... liner1.jpg http://images22.fotki.com/v519/file40tR ... liner2.jpg
JeepcoMJ
yep that's a comanche liner alright. it's identical to mine except that mine has the covers over the top of the bedrail built into it. also, mine uses the wierd corkscrews to hold it in place instead. I'm guessin that someone choppped it down when they put that wierd rollbar thing on it, or it was a different factory option than mine was. Only mirrors i can find look like they belong on a fullsize. I know finding comanche mirrors will be hard did s10,ranger,toyota stuff come with a universal type factory mirrors? feerocknok
I know finding comanche mirrors will be hard did s10,ranger,toyota stuff come with a universal type factory mirrors? I'm pretty sure Toyota 1-ton mirrors would bolt up, but the factory doors have nutcerts (sp?) in them, so you'd have to drill 4 holes in each door, and pull off the interior door panel to get nuts back there. jeepthing07
Cool i will have to keep an eye on ebay for them. I liked the comanches design cause you can kinda fold them against the door somewhat. the only universals i have seen mount to the door with 3 legs so you can't fold them in and they look to big

rocketwheels
...yes, the ones I picked up are the same as the ones on warriors truck. BUT, I've found the same ones at O'Reilleys aftermarket. Mine did come from the Chrysler/Jeep dealership mounted on a friends truck, but they may not be "OEM". One of the morrors had been replaced, it is smaller and looks different, but the other is larger and does have some part numbers stamped into it...it will require pulling the doorpanels to mount!
