I've taken my 2wd on OHV and ATV trails without ever becoming stuck/stranded.

Just wrap a strap around your axle if you can get to it. Buried my buddy's stock zj in the mud with the axles sunk in. had to dig a little hole under the front bumper to get the strap down there, but pulled it out no problem.

My suggestion is don't even take a 2wd MJ offroad if you don't have to, but if you do, keep the wheels straight and get some speed coming up to a mud patch. If the ground is dry however, go for it, just don't stop :banana:

Well, I just got back from my adventure and it was GREAT. I stuck to the very beginner stuff and had a ton of fun. I only got stuck twice, and managed to get out with a little help from my buddies. Thanks again guys for all of the great suggestions! :cheers: :Canadaflag:
