CEThomas
For the ones that have done a 8.8 SOA on the MJ. Did you have to buy new springs or were you able to use spacers to get the lift or maybe some springs out of the boneyard off something else?? Will be using RE DB's when we get the funds. Pete M
Did you have to buy new springs or were you able to use spacers to get the lift? I don't understand what you're asking. :hmm: How much lift are you looking for? Going SOA and then adding a spacer between the leaf and axle is a poor idea. Spring-wrap gets very bad. 87manche
how much lift do you want? SOA with the stock axle net's around 5", and the 8.8 tubes are bigger, so you'll likely get 5.5 or 6 out of an SOA with 8.8 at 6" I'm pretty sure you could fit 35's under the bed. CEThomas
OK, sorry. Have the SOA on the rear, need to know on the front if I need new longer springs or if I can get by with spacers or some junk yard springs to cut $$$. warf90
I would think that you are going to have a set of coil springs for the front. I think that a spacer would not be enough.
DirtyComanche
I'd buy coils... I know how to make it work JY style, but it'll suck. Coils are cheap.
Pete M
Coils are only one part of a 6" lift. There's control arms, trac bar, etc. to think about.

CEThomas
I know about the other stuff.. I am looking for items that I can get out of the local bone yard with out paying $180 for everything I need to buy. The springs are about the only thing that I can pick up at the local yard.
