sinkrun
I recently put on a Nates off road bumper and I needed to come up with lights for the plate. While searching ebay I came up with license plate light bolts. There no terribly bright but suit the purpose to pass inspection and look great I think. I mounted my plate on a removable receiver bracket and ran the light thru the tube with disconnect on the wires for easy removal. I wish I would have taken pictures while I built this I could have tried a how to write up. This is them there are cheaper ones on there also, http://www.ebay.com/itm/300692499822?ss ... 1439.l2649

dasbulliwagen
I have a set of those on my MJ. I had to make up a bracket after installing the Cherokee rear bumper, and I bought a set of those to make it legal for inspection. They get the job done just fine. Though it makes it hard to change a plate if you need to as the wires have to be fed through each time. My first plate bracket hasnt held up real well, so I'm looking at adding some small pin type connectors to it when I fix it again.
ComancheKid45
I just used a universal plate light and mounted it to a removable reciever mount with the wiring spliced into a trailer harness plug...not the prettiest thing but it works ;)
