These clocks plug into the empty plug either beside your gauge cluster or the wire is sometimes stuffed behind the gauges. There were different plugs depending on the year of your truck. These should fit late 88's and up. The 84-87 I believe had a different plug. This one is in great shape except for the common broken tab at the top. Got the Jeep up to 201k miles and it broke out. Rockers started to go, floorboards gone, corssmember starting to rot at the frame and it won't stay running anymore.
