I love the "magnifying glass" setting on my canon cybershot. :D and I dream of the day i can get a digi slr. :( had to sell off my film canon elan7e a while back. The little camera takes decent images though (as long as it isn't dark and you don't want a forced long exposure :fs1: )

These are all awesome pics, guys! Great thread to browse through - makes me want to grab my camera. I know very little about photography (lighting, exposure, etc.) but I'm trying to learn.

 

Here's a couple of my favorite shots from a recent trip to Death Valley:

Yes, awesome pics. I love those great mountains, water falls, red rocks, salt lakes, etc. what we haven't here! I could spend weeks in those places with my camera :brows: Pete M's MJ and dog are wonderful!! :yes:

When I took that cabin-pic there were clear sky, -25celsius temperature and full moon in middle of night... Great moment!!
