Comanche County
Its hard for me to watch C.J. Wilson. I have to admit he's overrated, needs to go back to the AAA league to learn how not to lose so much.
Backdraft
And game 5 is under way! Rangers win again tonight? Nope, not with Carpenter up tonight for the Redbirds. But I do think that tonight will be their last win in the Series. I'm not a Rangers fan, but I always go with the AL team in the series. Even if it's the Yanks. :fs1: I don't know Don..........we're tied up now!

This guy is either great or terrible. Rangers win the series now for sure. The Rangers MVP is Senor Albert Pujols.
Comanche County
This is turning out to be a great series for sure. These Cards have a great history and they've shown why they have the second most world series wins second to the Yanks. Its still up in the air since we're going to St. Louis for the next two games. Even though we're ahead, we can't count em out.
HOrnbrod
Well, here we go again finally. Rangers jumpin out early. Hope it doesn't snow before it's over tonight.
Backdraft
Good start. Hope they don't lose that head of steam. Edit......crap!
HOrnbrod
Hell of a game tonight, back and forth with more errors than I've ever seen in a W/S game from both sides. I'm pulling for the Cards tonight only so I can see a game 7. :clapping:

Comanche County
Then as I've been bashing J Hamilton for not producing in the post season he finally cranks one.
HOrnbrod
No choke, just an amazing game. Pressure maximus. EDIT: Hamilton just slammed a two run homer for the Rangers. Remember Yogi's famous "It ain't over till it's over"? This is one hell of a WS possibly final game. I can't remember any better, and I been watching for a long time. Great stuff. Comanche County
The problem is this fool umpire calls any pitch a ball unless it's swing and miss.
HOrnbrod
The "fool" ump is calling it consistently for both teams mate. That's all you can ask of them.
HOrnbrod
Holy crap - what a game. Tied up by the Cards w. one strike remaining from extinction.

Comanche County
If you look up the Card's history they've come back to win 5 outta 6 world series after being down 2-3....heck of a game. Not to mention they've got ten wins under their belt.
HOrnbrod
Carpenter will pitch tomorrow for sure at home. Gotta go with a Redbirds for the Series win. After the momentum gained tonight I can't see any other result. Not happy about a NL win, but not sad either. LaRussa is a better coach than Washington at crunch time due to tons more experience in this kind of situation, even though the Rangers may have better personnel across the board. tbrand
I'm pulling for the Rangers, but I'm happy to see either team win. Rangers have never won it, and the Cards haven't won since before my dad was born. At least it's not the Yankees. :D
ejndssn
:hmm: the last time the cards won was in 2006 and that was against the detroit tigers
