89comancheowner Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 The rear axle in out mjs r spring under and cherokees are spring over can you just bolt the 8.25 spring over on or mjs using factory spring i see that the shock mounts would need to be changed what else would need to be done. The perches need to be cut off and new ones welded on in the correct place. SW86 Posted September 18, 2011 Share Posted September 18, 2011 barnes 4x4 has the longer perches as well. i got mine from jegs or summit can't really remember which but they are just the standard mopar perches. still good though. make sure to get the 29 spline not the 27 8.25.
