89comancheowner Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The rear axle in out mjs r spring under and cherokees are spring over can you just bolt the 8.25 spring over on or mjs using factory spring i see that the shock mounts would need to be changed what else would need to be done.

The perches need to be cut off and new ones welded on in the correct place. The spacing between the Cherokee springs is not the same as a Comanche/

mvusse Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Ruff Stuff Specialties makes some beefy longer than stock (to help combat axle wrap) ones for a decent price.
SW86 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 barnes 4x4 has the longer perches as well. i got mine from jegs or summit can't really remember which but they are just the standard mopar perches. still good though. make sure to get the 29 spline not the 27 8.25.
