emissions timer

Where is the emissions maintenence timer located..I saw a picture of it , but can't find it in the truck.

oops..My bad

It is a 88 comanche with a 2.5l motor 4wd.

My emission light is on..truck runs fine. It has been on since I got it. Haven't had it long. Still fixing brake lines.

if I remember right, it's under the dash by the drivers right leg. it's a small clearish plastic box
