Harry O Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 I am having trouble finding a replacement for one of my a/c hoses. In my search I have learned that their were two air conditioning packages offered. Either your jeep came from the factory with factory air conditioning or it didn't and you had the option to add air from the dealership. The dealership installed air conditioning package was called american air. I have the american air package installed. I am looking for the smaller hose that goes from the evaporator/expansion valve to the receiver dryer. The oem part number is 83504359. Seems like I can find replacement hoses for everything but that part number I need and none of the pictures look like what I have. Was wondering if anyone has run into this before or has anyone replaced their a/c hoses and what part numbers did they use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was able to locate one in a JY and had to order the other from a JY in CA....JWjeep at http://www.jwjeep.com/. I think he charged me $20.00 plus shipping.
