knever3
So I am debating installing A/c from my donor cherokee. In your opinion is it worth it? I can see ahead I will need to buy a new reciever drier, probably a new condenser core and a heater core just for a piece of mind. I need to switch the wiring and the heater controlls too. So after all that is it really worth it?
dasbulliwagen
Is it worth it in Michigan? Thats debateable. You only get one or two really hot weeks per year... I know, I grew up there. I converted mine, but I'm in the south and it has been wonderful having it. When it gets down to a low of 80 overnight, youre glad you have AC, but in Mich, it isnt like that, so I could see iot going either way. If you do it, it will make your truck worth more if you ever resell, so it depends on if you want to spend the time on it.

bighause
I'm also in the planning stages of this, just need to find the right XJ. It's been so hot here in DFW I have only driven my truck once this month. Take pics as you go, the wiring looks like the most challenging part.
