Sir Sam
2013 would be a new chassis for a grand cherokee? I highly doubt that. That would mean that the current WK2 would have been in production for only THREE model years (2010, 2011, 2012). I see no way that is happening. Look at the past chassis updates. ZJ 6 years 93-98 WJ 6 years 99-04 WK 5 years 05-09 KJ 6 years 02-07 No way that will be the model year date, to do so is just stupid when you have production facilities already paid for on one chassis. Its more likely it will be the same chassis but with a facelift, either way that article is just way to much speculation and should be taken with a boulder of salt. kro10000
Pretty sure the wagoneer is going to be a 3 row GC, seeing as the new durango and gc have the same platform, and the durango has 3 rows, sounds simple enough.
jeepdoggydogB
I seem to remember Sergio mentioning that this would be everything the Commander wasn't, and offering more seating than the GC.
Automan2164
...either way that article is just way to much speculation and should be taken with a boulder of salt. 'nuff said. Remember the time we got all excited about a Jeep pickup? The one that just turned out to be a dealer kit to weld up the back doors on a 4 door JK to make it into a pickup? Yep, you get my point. Believe it when I see it. Mark my words. If this thing comes to fruition, it will look NOTHING like the old Wagoneer, and will do it NO justice. Incommando
That article and drawing will probably have nothing to do with the production vehicle. I, too, think the new Waggy will be a jeep-bodied version of the 3-row Durango.
