grabber Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Ran Sat, Then quite. Thought it was Hot but when cooled down only the starter turns. Checked and have No Spark from coil, no Signal to Injectors. Akula69 Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 I had a similar problem with one of my trucks and it ended up needing the engine bay harness bypass TSB that is still available from most Jeep dealships. The link is a .pdf file http://www.lunghd.com/Downloads_and_Links/CPS-87-90-update.pdf It allows the CPS to communicate directly with the ECM to avoid signal loss. grabber Posted June 22, 2011 Author Share Posted June 22, 2011 What to kick Sons A$$, two weeks of trouble shoot signal to fire coil.... Found Main harness ground not attached, He tucked it behind harness so it was not in the way. Never seen it when he put the head back on. Was making a ground for about 1/2 when it ran, then test drove it. Ground not make a connection... on fire to coil or signal too injectors.
