HOrnbrod
Picked this up at a local garage sale the wife dragged me to because she spotted the below and thought it might fit. New and never mounted, $25. It's a PML as-cast cover and retails for $160. I still hate yard sales though. :D Image Not Found

87Warrior
How in the world do you keep from twisting the axle tags up? The tags on my rubi are twisted at the ends :fs1: Granted they are not on the Jeep anymore, questioning for the MJ
Automan2164
Must have her trained well in order to tell you about something she saw, let alone it be the correct part. Rob
HOrnbrod
Must have her trained well in order to tell you about something she saw, let alone it be the correct part. Rob  Just luck Rob. She helped me unload it after I had the gear change done, and while it was on the ground, I asked her to eyeball the diff cover and if she ever saw one for sale, let me know. She used to market marine Kohler / Briggs & Stratton engines, transmissions, and other mechanical stuff in the Philippines and other countries for an American supplier, and is very sharp mechanically. How in the world do you keep from twisting the axle tags up? The tags on my rubi are twisted at the ends :fs1: Granted they are not on the Jeep anymore, questioning for the MJ  I make my own tags from 1/8" thick brass flat stock and have an antique alpha/numeric stamping set (courtesy of the USN) and just hammer the data on the tag I fab. This one says TracLok 4.10. The tag is permanent and locked between diff cover two bolt holes. Also xxx'ed out the axle tube Dana p/n and changed it from 3.55 to 4.10.
87Warrior
I make my own tags from 1/8" thick brass strip and have an antique alpha/numeric stamping set (courtesy of the USN) and just hammer the data on the tag I fab. The tag is permanent and locked between diff cover two bolt holes. Ah, I see. I wondered why they looked 'gold-ish' and just chalked it up to you doing some excessive polishing :brows: The factory aluminum foil tags on my rubi were fastened in the same manner your custom brass tags are. The problem is, once you would go to torque the bolt it would twist the tag.
HOrnbrod
Yeah, the factory foil tags are a cheapout and never survive.
