Holy crap. It's been so long since I've posted anything I had to reset my password.

I've been busy with other things but I think I'm ready to start thinking Jeeps again. Went to the JY today for the first time in months and picked up a couple of things off a 92 MJ. I'll be putting some stuff up in the classifieds later and trying to catch up on all the cool stuff I've missed on my vacation away from CC. Cheers to all.

Dayem! Thought you went back to sea Paul. Welcome back shipmate.

Only sea time I'll be logging is maybe a cruise ship. :brows:

I did manage to lurk around here from time to time. Saw you making a killing on some tail lights.

We thought you took off and joined the French Foreigh Legion or something.

Not quite. Only French I know of is French Fries, French dressing, and French Toast. :D

Welcome back Paul. What kinda goods did you score at the JY. It amazes me sometimes at the stuff you find.

Little of this and a little of that.

Just kidding.

Someone beat me to those $300 used tail lights, but I did manage to get a nice tailgate. It was a pretty basic 2wd LWB pioneer edition MJ with no options. I really hoped it would of had buckets, a center console, and a cargo light. It did surprise me that it was a column automatic(no tach). Other than the tailgate, I pulled the MJ specific interior parts including the seatbelts. Pulled the back window rubber and that oh so hard to find HO sending unit. I also got a few parts for my sons Mazda pickup. Not a bad haul, but I've had better.

Welcome back Paul! Glad to see you are doing ok my friend.

If the 92 sender was for a 23 gallon tank I would like to call dibs on it.

Get cracking on the MJ. I need some inspiration!

Bo, senders for LWB's and SWB's in HO MJ's are the same.

Rob

Welcome back Paul!

Did you happen to pull the VIN on that '92 for the registry? We just discovered a new member with the latest serial number '92... Always on the hunt for the last.

Rob

Yep I did. It's build date was 11/91. One of the first things I checked.

It will have to wait until I finish some "honey do's". Started some remodeling back in October and still haven't finished. :shake:
